This last weekend we gals at Flora and Fauna took part in feeding the folks at the Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival. It. Was. A. Blast! We served our famous ‘fried chicken sandwich’ made of Free range breast, cilantro spiked coleslaw and on an Edna bakery bun. We also served our seasonal ‘Hoo-Ha’ that’s made from buttery puff pastry and filled with local organic strawberries and hand whipped cream with vanilla paste.
While we enjoyed the weekend and met really cool folks, we also came to the realization that perhaps smaller festivals are more our gig... aside from our first passion... Catering!
